ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Raleigh F. Pearman of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Scott Harner will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m.

Pearman, 70, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at his home.

He was born April 29, 1930, at Kaskaskia, Ill., son of Robert and Ethel Mansfield Pearman. He and Kathleen Rivers were married Dec. 22, 1949, in Mound City, Ill. She died Nov. 4, 1998.

Pearman was retired from Union County Hospital in Anna.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Flamm of Cobden, Ill.; two sons, Stanley Pearman of Hattiesburg, Miss., Steve Pearman of Anna; two sisters, Marcella Sissom and Thelma Smiley of Olive Branch, Ill.; two brothers, Lloyd Pearman of Rockview, Mo., Robert Pearman of Missouri; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother.
