RAE WARD

MARBLE HILL -- F. Rae Ward, 68, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 25, 1929, at Harrell, Ark., daughter of Beau and Bessie Johnson Hopper. She and Gene Ward were married June 29, 1948.

Ward was a jewelry clerk at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Marble Hill First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert Ward of Colorado Springs, Colo., Timothy Ward of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Tamara Morehouse of Colorado Springs; two brothers, G.W. Hopper of San Jose, Calif., Bobby Hopper of Camden, Ark.; two sisters, Mary Zimmerman of Albuquerque, N.M., Jean Alvarez of San Jose; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Liley Funeral Home at Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
