Rachel E. Harbison, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1998, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born July 9, 1912, at Craighead County, Ark., to John Thomas Smith and Victoria Drucilla Flippin.

In 1973 at Fredericktown, she married W.V. Harbison, who died July 11, 1983.

She was a member of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Holland of McDonough, Ga., Vicky Prince of Cape Girardeau and Cathy O'Dell of Scott City; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Six brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation is today from 8 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Mark Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.
