DEXTER -- Quitman Robert Brigman, 77, of Dexter died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Tupelo, Miss., son of Robert and Nealy Lackey Brigman. He and Beulah Evelyn Clifton were married March 13, 1942, in Harrisburg, Ark. She died Aug. 21, 1990. He later married Thelma Juanita McCoy April 21, 1991, at Dexter...

DEXTER -- Quitman Robert Brigman, 77, of Dexter died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Tupelo, Miss., son of Robert and Nealy Lackey Brigman. He and Beulah Evelyn Clifton were married March 13, 1942, in Harrisburg, Ark. She died Aug. 21, 1990. He later married Thelma Juanita McCoy April 21, 1991, at Dexter.

Brigman was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Quitman Brigman of McRae, Ark.; and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and a half brother.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Smith-Stevenson Cemetery near Dexter.
