MORLEY -- Johnathan Quincy Davis, 89, of Morley, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 1995, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.
He was born Sept. 5, 1906, in Mulvane, Kan., son of William Robert and Addie Ann Snyder Davis. He and Elizabeth Mae Murphy were married Aug. 8, 1931, in Newton, Kan. She died Feb. 11, 1975.
Davis had been a maintenance worker at Foley Tractor Co. in Wichita, Kan.
Survivors include a daughter, Quindola Gadberry of Morley; a brother, Leslie Davis of Sedan, Kan.; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Gardner officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. Thursday in El Paso Cemetery at Derby.
