KARNAK, Ill. -- Funeral for Printha Ford of Karnak will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home. The Rev. Shawn Wasson will officiate, with burial in Massac Memorial Gardens at Metropolis.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today.
Ford, 77, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.
She was born April 14, 1921, in Metropolis, daughter of Henry and Nell Stephens Davis. She married Gene Ford.
The Fords owned Ford's Upholstery, and she was also a retired beautician. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Shirley Anderson of Karnak; two sons, Neal Ford of Karnak, Steve Ford of Vienna; a sister, Iantha Anderson of Metropolis; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a great-grandson.
