PHILOMENE A. OTTO

PERRYVILLE -- Philomene A. Otto, 84, of Perryville, died Tuesday, April 20, 1993, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1908, in Perry County, daughter of Bernard and Lena Fuytinck DeWilde. She and Barney Otto were married in February 1932. He died in September 1967.

Otto was a member of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary at Belgique.

Survivors include four daughters, Rudell Cowell of Sparta, Ill., Erlene Barillio of Belleville, Ill., Elva Chiappa of Granite City, Ill., Nelda Foster of Florissant; three sons, Marvin Otto of Jerseyville, Ill., Glenn Otto of Titusville, Fla., Dennis Otto of St. Charles; a brother, Ed DeWilde of Perryville; two sisters, Rose Krider and Martha Lynch of Long Beach, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Grodecki will officiate, with burial in Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:45 a.m. Thursday.
