Peter Stephen 'Steve' Hinman passed away on the evening of Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022. He was born Nov. 16, 1950 at the old St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau and was a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau. "Mr. Steve" was a fixture of Brucher Street and the surrounding area. He was a gifted mechanic and spent his time working on lawnmower and tiller engines for neighbors and friends. Peter Stephen 'Steve' Hinman passed away on the evening of Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022.

He was born Nov. 16, 1950 at the old St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau and was a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau.

"Mr. Steve" was a fixture of Brucher Street and the surrounding area. He was a gifted mechanic and spent his time working on lawnmower and tiller engines for neighbors and friends. His pride and joy was his Harley-Davidson Police Special trike, which he enjoyed riding with his dog, Odus.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Barbara Hinman Reynolds of Indianapolis; and his sons, Robert Keith Hinman of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Robert Stephen Hinman of Citrus Springs, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Lee Seib Hinman in 2005.

Private services will be held at Essex Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Crain Funeral Home.
