Peter Joseph Riley, 52, of Scott City died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at his home.
He was born April 18, 1963, in Cape Girardeau to Freddie Joseph and Betty Yvonne Diamond Riley. He married Jennifer Thomas on Nov. 23, 1995.
He was a deckhand for ACBL Barge lines until he became disabled in 1984.
He is survived by a son, Dylan Riley of Scott City; a daughter, Katie Riley of Scott City; two brothers, Blair Brown of Denver and Danny Riley of Fruitland; and a sister, Brenda Brown of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brian Brown.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
Family requests donations be made to the funeral home to cover funeral expenses.
