DAISY -- Pervis Sebaugh, 92, died Monday, March 29, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville. He was born Aug. 15, 1906, in Bollinger County, son of Vivian and Sarah Propst Sebaugh. He first married Viola Hahs March 3, 1935. She died Jan. 10, 1977. He and Mary Evans were married June 19, 1979...

DAISY -- Pervis Sebaugh, 92, died Monday, March 29, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

He was born Aug. 15, 1906, in Bollinger County, son of Vivian and Sarah Propst Sebaugh. He first married Viola Hahs March 3, 1935. She died Jan. 10, 1977. He and Mary Evans were married June 19, 1979.

Sebaugh went into full-time dairy business in 1949. He was a 4-H dairy project leader 15 years, director for PCA from 1960-71, surveyor for ASC from 1950-60, served on the Regional Library Board from 1969-90, served on the ASC County Commission and Cape Girardeau County Extension Council many years.

He was a lifetime member of Sargents Chapel Lutheran Church, had been an adult Sunday School teacher, council member and secretary of the church, and served as Sunday School superintendent.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Daniel Sebaugh of Daisy, Theodore Sebaugh of Elm Springs, Ark., James Sebaugh of Hillsboro; two daughters, Ruth Jurick of Foothill Ranch, Calif., Martha Holler of Perryville; two stepdaughters, Jane Miller of Ballwin, Cathie Arrandale of Grandview; two brothers, Delos Sebaugh of Daisy, Ovis Sebaugh of Sikeston; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three stepgrandsons; and a stepgranddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sargents Chapel Church. The Rev. Albert F. Nyland will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
