OAK RIDGE -- Percy Edgar Bollman, 87, of Oak Ridge died Tuesday, April 15, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 15, 1910, in Illinois, son of Louis and Emily Bircher Bollman.
He married Clara Nolan Aug. 4, 1940. He was employed as a chemical operator and experimental plant farmer for Monsanto.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim. He was a World War II Army veteran and a life member of Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include: his wife; one son, Gary E. Bollman of Ellisville; one daughter, Judith Peeples of Fenton; one brother, Ray Bollman of Belleville, Ill.; one sister, Verna Schuette of Collinsville, Ill.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville and from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at Feiser Funeral Home in Fenton. There will be a DAV wake at 7 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Feiser Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Burial Park in Affton.
