Pearl Mae Turner, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born April 3, 1919, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Lester and Ruth Mae Seabaugh Loberg. She first married Louis Brune in 1938 in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1966. She later married Robert Turner, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Turner had worked at Superior Electric and at Sunny Hill Motel. She was a member of Third Street United Methodist Church and an avid card player.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann Long of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Keith Turner of Pontiac, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Edith Turner and Cynthia Turner of Pontiac; two sisters, Rosalie Dunn of Pevely, Mo., Glenda LeMay of Florida; two brothers, Lloyd Loberg of Cape Girardeau, Harold Loberg of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Bub York and Mike York of Cape Girardeau, Steve York of Wood River, Ill.; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren; and a great-great-stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Loberg; a grandson, Gus York; and a stepson.
There is no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Third Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. Janet Hopkins will officiate.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
