JACKSON -- Pearl E. Jaco, 89, of Summersville, died Wednesday, July 3, 1996, at his home.
He was born April 6, 1907, in Perry County, son of Wesley and Nancy Niemann Jaco. He and Gladys E. Estes were married July 5, 1930.
Jaco had been a timber worker. He was a member of Praise Assembly Church in Summersville.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Claude "Gene" Jaco of Jackson; a daughter, Lillie Jackson of Summersville; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, eight brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary L. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
