SILVER LAKE, Mo. -- Pearl R. Cissell Doll, 94, of Silver Lake died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo. She was born Sept. 16, 1915, in Silver Lake, daughter of the late Louis and Mary McLain Gibbar. She first married Claude Cissell on Feb. 8, 1934. He preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1956. She then married Joseph H. Doll on Oct. 13, 1963. He preceded her in death March 4, 1980...

SILVER LAKE, Mo. -- Pearl R. Cissell Doll, 94, of Silver Lake died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.

She was born Sept. 16, 1915, in Silver Lake, daughter of the late Louis and Mary McLain Gibbar. She first married Claude Cissell on Feb. 8, 1934. He preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1956. She then married Joseph H. Doll on Oct. 13, 1963. He preceded her in death March 4, 1980.

Survivors include a daughter, Lorene (Francis) Blessing of Imperial, Mo.; a son, Claude (Nancy) Cissell of Silver Lake; a sister, Lucille Jannin of Silver Lake; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; three sons, Leonard, Gene and Kenneth Cissell; four sisters, Edna Richardet, Hazel Whistler, Ethelene Jannin and Rosemary Layton; a brother, Albert "Bub" Gibbar; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Doll was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Catholic wake will be Monday at 7:45 p.m.

The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating.

Memorials are preferred to family use.
