DEXTER -- Funeral service for Pearl Clark of Dexter will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. James Hook will officiate, with burial in Chalk Bluff Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Clark, 94, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, at the home of a daughter in Lakewood, Colo.

She was born Aug. 28, 1903, at Dexter, daughter of William and Georgia Fortner Tippy. She and John A. Clark were married May 15, 1919. He died June 25, 1974.

Clark lived in Michigan 27 years, in Colorado seven years, moved back to Dexter in 1965, and had spent the last few months in Colorado with two of her daughters. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church at Dexter.

Survivors include four daughters, Lucille Keller and Norma Land of Lakewood, Willamae Brown of Owossa, Mich., Ruby Millikin of Marion, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and daughter.
