Davis, 72, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 1995, at Puxico Nursing Center.

She was born May 26, 1922, at Kinder, daughter of Zachary Taylor and Effie Crisel Hastings. She and Homer Davis were married Oct. 28, 1939, in Bloomfield. He died Oct. 12, 1967.

Davis was a lifelong resident of Puxico, and member of Kinder General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Donald Davis of Puxico; a daughter, Betty Patton of Wappapello; a brother, Herbert Hastings of Manteca, Calif.; a sister, Marcella Hastings of Silex; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
