CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Pauline Catherine Uhrhan, 91, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 12, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, to Ambrose and Frances Rose Kirchdoerfer Brucker. She married Anthony "Tony" Uhrhan on May 10, 1944. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 1985.
Pauline had been a shoe cutter at Sports Specialty Shoe Factory in Chaffee. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary to Post 3127, Legion Post 389, Daughters of St. Ambrose and Chaffee RSVP.
Survivors include two sons, Terry (Kay) Uhrhan of Scott City, Robert (Alice) Uhrhan of Chaffee; a daughter, Betty (Bruce) Moran of Nixa, Mo.; a brother, Lawrence Brucker of Delta; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery.
