ADVANCE, Mo. -- Pauline Bennett Stilts, 89, of Florissant, Mo., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Willow Rose Rehab and Health Center in Jerseyville, Ill.
She was born Aug. 20, 1923, in Arab, Mo., daughter of James Franklin and Rosetta Anna Boyd Bennett. She and Glendall Stilts were married May 18, 1940, in Corning, Ark. He preceded her in death July 27, 2005.
Pauline retired from Central States Diversified in St. Louis.
Survivors include three daughters, Irma (Bill) Wagner of St. Peters, Mo., Rosetta (Mitch) Mitchell of Bridgeton, Mo., and Gloria (Michael) Hale of Godfrey, Ill.; a brother, the Rev. Roy Lee (Hazel) Bennett of Versailles, Mo.; six grandchildren, Jimmy and Paul Mitchell, Angela Southards, Robert Wagner, Andrea Isinghausen and Andrew Hale; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a granddaughter, Susan R. Wagner; a grandson and great-grandbabies; a sister, Shirley Bennett; and two brothers, Benjamin and Delbert Bennett.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo., with the Rev. Gary Cooper officiating.
Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill, Mo.
