OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Pauline Johnson, 74, of Olive Branch died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Olive Branch, daughter of Leonard and Gladys Free Bennett. She and J.D. Johnson were married on Dec. 10, 1943.
Johnson was a charter member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Olive Branch, worked as a volunteer in the RSVP program and was active in the Olive Branch Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Debra Johnson of Olive Branch; two sons, Anthony Wayne Johnson of Springate, Texas, and Daniel Johnson of San Barraggo, Calif.; two granddaughters; and one sister, Juanita LeTempt of Dupo, Ill.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and until the time of service Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. William McDonald and Bob Norton officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Ill.
