Pauline Marie Fox, 59, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, July 15, 2006, at her home.
She was born Dec. 30, 1946, in Hebron, Iowa, daughter of Leonard and June (Bennett) Haaf. She and Jerry Fox were married June 12, 1982, in Cape Girardeau.
She received master and doctorate degrees from Oklahoma State University
Fox taught economics at Southeast Missouri State University, served in several administrative capacities and retired as vice president of administration and enrollment management.
Fox received several awards, including Faculty Alumni Award in 1987 and CASE Missouri Professor of the Year in 1988.
She is survived by her husband; mother and stepfather, June and Glen Weaver of Creston, Iowa; a son, Matt Merriman of Portland, Ore.; a daughter, Sally Merriman of Boston, Mass.; two stepdaughters, Laura Fox of St. Peters, Mo., Krista Fox of Clayton, Mo.; a brother, Paul Haaf of Overland Park, Kan.; and a granddaughter, Isabella Fox.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with Ernie Eudy officiating
