SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Paula Lynn Goza of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Richard Whittman will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Goza, 44, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born April 8, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Floyd E. and Evelyn J. Thomas Whittaker. She and Michael E. Goza were married Nov. 15, 1975, in Cape Girardeau.
Goza attended schools in Cape Girardeau and graduated from Cape Girardeau Vo-Tech School. She had lived in Sikeston 14 years.
She was a respiratory therapist at Missouri Delta Medical Center, retiring in 1988. Goza was a member of Temple Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Rodney Hurt and Chad Goza of Sikeston, Jeff Hurt of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Nina Jaco of Sikeston; a niece who lived with her, Misty Jaco of Sikeston, and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
