Paula Carroll

Paula Anne Carroll, 55, of Scott City passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 28, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of J.A. and Carolyn Peterson Rose. She married Russell Carroll on Feb. 15, 1986 in Benton, Missouri.

She was a secretary for G&D Communications in Sikeston, Missouri.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Russell Dee Carroll and Aaron Carroll of the home; one brother, Alan Rose of Chaffee, Missouri; three sisters, JoAnn Biler of Crump, Joyce Rose of Cape Girardeau and Helen Natvig of Sikeston; and two cherished grandchildren, Alyvia and Carroll Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dwight Hensley officiating. Interment will follow at Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
