SIKESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Paula Cannon of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Dolan Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cannon, 57, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born June 25, 1944, at Crowder, Mo., daughter of Charlie and Lora Bacon Cooper.
Cannon had worked at Anchor Toy and had been a teacher's aide at Sikeston Headstart. She was a member of Sikeston Community Church.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Cannon and Harry Powers of Sikeston, Charles Cooper of Kentucky; a daughter, Melissa Coffer of Charleston, Mo.; four brothers, Robert Cooper of Bertrand, Mo., James Cooper of Union, Mo., Jerry Cooper of Sikeston, and her twin brother, Paul Cooper of Bethel, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
