MORLEY -- Paul W. Funke, 71, of Edwardsville, Ill., died Tuesday, July 12, 1994, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill. He was born Aug. 17, 1922, at Morley, son of John and Nettie Sitzes Funke. He and Frances M. Rice were married May 16, 1942. Funke had been an over-the-road truck driver, and a bus driver with Continental Trailways out of Chicago. He was a member of Teamsters Local 600 in St. Louis and Local 710 in Chicago, and River Forest-Austin Masonic Lodge 850 in River Forest...

MORLEY -- Paul W. Funke, 71, of Edwardsville, Ill., died Tuesday, July 12, 1994, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

He was born Aug. 17, 1922, at Morley, son of John and Nettie Sitzes Funke. He and Frances M. Rice were married May 16, 1942.

Funke had been an over-the-road truck driver, and a bus driver with Continental Trailways out of Chicago. He was a member of Teamsters Local 600 in St. Louis and Local 710 in Chicago, and River Forest-Austin Masonic Lodge 850 in River Forest.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marie Funke of Edwardsville, Joyce Schoenbeck of Addison; a sister, Lucille Vashor of Chicago; a brother, Glen Funke of Fort Myers, Fla., and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Mateer Funeral Home in Edwardsville after 4 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
