Paul Martin Siemers, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born July 17, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, son of Martin F. and Ruby Hitt Siemers. He and Paula Johnson were married Nov. 26, 1966, in Cape Girardeau.
Siemers was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville, where he was a former Sunday school board member, an elder and served on various committees.
He was a current board member of Missouri Heritage Mutual Insurance of Gordonville. He served on the board of SEMO Dairymen Inc. many years.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Siemers; a son, Jeffrey Martin Siemers; a daughter, Jennifer Schneider and husband Kevin; a sister, Evelyn Winkler and husband Bill, all of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Zach and Nathan Schneider of Cape Girar-deau, Conley Allen Clark of Scott City; two nieces, Gayle Winkler and Sarah Iberg of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack Siemers; and a sister, Marilyn Allebaugh.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Wayne Schwiesow officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Saxony Lutheran High School or St. Paul Lutheran School.
