GORDONVILLE -- Paul Howard Seabaugh, 77, 398 state Highway Z, died Friday, April 16, 1999, at Southeast Memorial Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 6, 1922, at Cape Girardeau, son of Garrett Albert Seabaugh and Emma Mae Bollinger Seabaugh. He and Jewel Eloide Caraker were married June 17, 1948, at Cape Girardeau.
Seabaugh retired in 1983 after 36 years as a truck driver with Kimble Truck Line, Delta Motor Line and ABF Truck Line. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Seabaugh was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and Zion United Methodist Men's Club in Gordonville. He was also a member of St. Mark's Lodge 93 A.F. & A.M., St. Marks Chapter 167 Order of Eastern Star, Capaha Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, Silver Jubilee Teamster Retiree Club and Teamster Local 574.
Seabaugh is survived by his wife; a son, Michael P. Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Teresa Gladwell of Cape Girardeau, Bonita Sanders of Wichita, Kan., Yana Burgfeld of Jackson; three brothers, William Seabaugh of Sikeston, John W. Seabaugh of Millersville, James R. Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Helen VanGilder of Jackson, Ruth Schlegel of Gordonville; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 4 to 8 today, with Masonic services by St. Marks Lodge 93 at 7.
Funeral will at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Zion United Methodist Church at Gordonville, with the Rev. Jim Lyon officiating. Burial will follow at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
