CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Paul S. Dixon of Detroit, Mich., formerly of Charleston, was held Saturday at Sparks Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Wiley Reed officiated, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Dixon, 34 years old, died Monday, April 1, 1991, at Boxford Hospital in Detroit.
He was born Aug. 17, 1956, at Wyatt. He was a construction worker.
Survivors include three sons, Deon Brown of Detroit, LaPaul and Lascotto Simpson of Charleston; four daughters, Eather, Sirrea and Sengal Simpson and LaShonda Moore, all of Chrleston; five brothers, Elbert Dixon of Benton harbor, Mich., Gilbert Dixon of Hayti, David and William Dixon of Charleston, James Dixon of Cape; five sisters, Recie Dixon of Chicago, Clara Griffin of Benton Harbor, Burneita Bradley and Frances Dixon of Charleston, Mary Davis of Detroit, and a grandchild.
