MALDEN -- Funeral for Paul Gene Peridore of Malden will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Cecil Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery, with rites conducted by Missouri Military Honor Guard.
Peridore, 57, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at Hampton House Residential Care Center.
He was born Oct. 21, 1942, at Matthews, son of Alfred and Mary Dalton Peridore.
Peridore had been a farmhand for the Woodrow Beck Farm. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and received a Purple Heart.
Survivors include two brothers, Lloyd Peridore of Morehouse, Howard Peridore of Sikeston; three sisters, Geneva Morgan and Joyce Staggs of Sikeston, and Ruth Nichols of Matthews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
