PAUL LEYOID HEFNER

DELTA -- Paul Leyoid Hefner, 57, of Delta died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 19, 1941, in Bell City, the son of Prentice and Caroline Brinkman Hefner. He and Shirley Fenimore were married July 28, 1962. She survives.

Hefner was employed in the air conditioning and refrigeration business before becoming disabled. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delta.

Other survivors include his mother of Delta; a daughter, Pamela Cannon of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Emma Borneman of Delta; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ron Shrum officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
