Paul Joseph Keller Sr., 71, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 3, 1927, at Dutchtown, son of Louis and Cora Propst Keller.
He and Doris Jean Ford were married June 20, 1947, at Piggott, Ark. She died Jan. 27, 1997.
Keller was a truck driver for Cauble and Fields in Cape Girardeau for 26 years. He also worked for Atlas Plastic and ABF Freight System before retiring in 1986.
He was a member of Teamster Union Local 574. He attended Delta High School.
Survivors include four sons, Robert J. Keller, Bill J. Keller and Paul J. Keller Jr., all of Cape Girardeau, and Charles J. Keller of Gordonville.; two daughters, Katherine Teichman of Cape Girardeau and Paula J. Keller of St. Louis; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Fred Poston officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
