Paul John Glueck, 81, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, June 29, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born March 28, 1912, at Kelso, son of Anton and Ida Schlitt Glueck. He and the former Valeria Grasser were married June 1, 1940, at Kelso. She died Nov. 24, 1966.
Glueck farmed west of Cape Girardeau all his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry Glueck of Cape Girardeau, Jim Glueck of Scott City; three daughters, Verna Eaker of Thebes, Ill., Maryln Lappe and Norma Welch of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Charles A. Glueck of Jackson; three sisters, Martha Scheeter of Oran, Catherine Dunn of Belleville, Ill., Helen Trickey of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral. Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7, and KC service at 7:30.
