DONGOLA, Ill. -- Paul Hunter, 77, of Dongola, died Friday, Nov. 4, 1994, at his home.
He was born Oct. 25, 1917, at Cypress, son of Olin and Linnie Peeler Hunter. He and Margaree Bishop were married May 22, 1938. She died June 7, 1984.
Hunter formerly owned and operated Hunter's Dry Cleaning in Dongola. He was a member of Anna Moose Lodge, Anna Elks, Anna VFW, and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Schluter of Cobden; three grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Bill Bishop officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, with military graveside rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
