SIKESTON, Mo. -- Paul Eaves, 87, of Sikeston died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 23, 1918, in Stoddard County, son of Clarence and Josie Allison Eaves. He and Nellie Bernece Eaves were married Nov. 22, 1941, in Benton, Mo.

Eaves was a lifelong farmer in the Bell City, Mo., area and a member of Garden Ridge General Baptist Church in Bell City.

Survivors include a daughter, Pauline Uelsmann of Scott City; two grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Fox officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
