PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Paul William Dunlap, 75, of Perryville passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 28, 1938, in Ste. Genevieve, Mo., son of Raymond and Sylvia Basler Dunlap. He and Barbara L. Sutterer were married Sept. 12, 1959. She survives in Perryville.

Paul was owner of Sutterer Oil Co. Inc. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He was an alderman for 20 years, a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Perryville Lions Club and of the Perryville Jaycees.

Survivors include three daughters; Jeri (Jeff) Farough and Paula (Nick) Hotop, all of Perryville, and Carla (Steven) Leible of Columbia, Mo.; two brothers, Kenneth (Mary Lou) Dunlap and Dennis (Janet) Dunlap, all of Ste. Genevieve; and six grandchildren, Gregory and Mary Makenzie Winkler, Bayley and Addie Hotop, and Clay and Annie Leible.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Greg Dunlap.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home, with a Catholic wake at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A funeral Mass will be at noon Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan CM officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred for St. Vincent schools or a charity of choice.
