PAUL C. DICKERSON

GRASSY -- Paul C. Dickerson, 65, of Grassy, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1992, from injuries received in an automobile accident in Bollinger County.

He was born June 7, 1927, in Granite City, Ill., son of Jess C. and Lora Smith Dickerson. He and Dorothy Collins were married April 24, 1950.

Dickerson was a general contractor, member of Steelworkers Local 67, and attended Ladd Chapel General Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Paul Dickerson of Granite City, Clayton Dickerson of Grassy; four daughters, Carolin Glass of South Roxana, Ill., Donna Young and Debra Stanley of Granite City, Cindy Sneed of Hillsboro, Ill.; two brothers, Bill Dickerson of Yellville, Ark., Robert Dickerson of Waupaca, Wis.; two sisters, Bonnie Mitchell of Granite City, Sandra Allen of Fenton; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Irwin Funeral Chapel in Granite City. The Rev. Otis Littles will officiate, with burial in Lakeview Memorial Gardens at Belleville.

Friends may call at the chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Liley Funeral Home at Marble Hill was in charge of local arrangements.
