Paul B. Nicolaides, 67, of 1530 Howell St., died Saturday, April 4, 1992 at Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born April 10, 1924 in Piggott, Ark., son of Harry and Cora Perkins Nicolaides.
On Oct. 11, 1946, he married the former Jean Nixon at Mounds, Ill., where he was raised. Nicolaides was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.
He worked in the banking and insurance business in Bloomington, Ill., retiring in 1989 and moving to Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Centenary Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Surviving are his wife, of Cape Girardeau; a son, Daniel Nicolaides of Bloomington; a daughter, Martha Brown of Reston, Va.; and a brother, Myrel Nicolaides of Bensonville, Ill..
Surviving also are sisters Dorothy Nilsen of Cape Girardeau; Pauline Greene and Helen Roberts, both of Mounds; Virginia Dapkus of Highland, Ill.; and Joyce Wallace of Evansville, Ind.
Three brothers preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Neil Stein will officiate. There will be no visitation.
