CAIRO, Ill. -- Patsy R. Williams, 78, of Cairo died Monday, April 24, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 29, 1927, in Cairo, daughter of John and Clara Tudor Dodd. She married Robert Williams, who died in 1971.
Williams retired as a cook with Mid South Towing Co. in Metropolis, Ill. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Williams of Cairo, Linda Calvert of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., Pam Boyd of Bertrand, Mo.; two sons, Curtis Whitehead of Memphis, Tenn., Tom Williams of Wickliffe, Ky.; a sister, Helen Palmer of Chicago; three brothers, Bobby Dodd of Maryland, John Dodd of Cape Girardeau, Phil Dodd of Olive Branch, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at St. Patrick's Church today from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. today at the church, with Monsignor Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
