PATSY RESSEL

Funeral Mass for Patsy P. Ressel, 2501 Allendale, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7, and KC rosary at 7:30.

Ressel, 72, died Tuesday, May 27, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 15, 1924, in New Hamburg, daughter of Nicholas and Coena Welter Essner. She and Wilfred William Ressel were married Nov. 23, 1950, at New Hamburg.

Ressel moved to Cape Girardeau in 1950 from New Hamburg. She worked at Sports Specialty in Chaffee several years, and was manager of Park West Apartments in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Vincent's Church and its Women's Council.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Randy Ressel of Jackson; a daughter, Peggy McLain of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Raymond Essner of Kelso, Herbert Essner of New Hamburg, Leo Fuller of Chaffee; five sisters, Sylvia Reinagel and Rosemary Horrell of Kelso, Cecelia Margrabe of Jackson, Margaret Snider of Farmington, Jerene Moore of Luxora, Ark.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
