Patsy Jean "Pat" Terry, 76, of Jackson passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 11, 1940, in Jackson to Charley W. and M. Lottie Revelle Hanners. She and Charles D. Terry were married March 20, 1960, at First Baptist Church in Jackson.

Pat was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson. She attended the former Roberts Grade School west of Jackson. She was a 1958 graduate of Jackson High School and attended business school in Cape Girardeau. Thereafter, she worked many years as an accountant for Penzel Construction Co. in Jackson.

Pat enjoyed 4-H Club in her youth. In later years, she enjoyed sewing, visiting with friends while a member of the former Roberts Homemakers Club, and reading books of all kinds.

Loving survivors include her husband of 56 years, Charles; a daughter, Janine (Mark) Seabaugh; and a brother, Charles L. (Gloria) Hanners, all of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric Longman officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor's choice of church or charity.
