Patsy Graviett, 82, of Morley, Mo., died Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 29, 1927, in New Madrid, Mo., daughter of the late Louie Carl and Hazel Elizabeth Chapel Shy.
Patsy was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran. She was a homemaker.
On May 15, 1947, she was married to Leon "Honey" Graviett at Piggot, Ark. He survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Mike Graviett of Beloit, Kan., Gary (Mary Alice) Graviett of Rolla, Mo., Roger Graviett of Morley and Denny (Debbie) Graviett of Chaffee, Mo.; a daughter, Carla (George) Trankler of Chaffee, Mo; a brother, Jerry (Glenna) Shy of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating.
Burial will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
