CHARLESTON -- Patrick James O'Connor, 53, of Charleston, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1993, at his home.

He was born April 3, 1940, in Galway, Ireland, son of George and Ann McDonough O'Connor. He and Alice Galemore were married Jan. 27, 1968.

O'Connor had lived in Mississippi County since 1974, and served two years in Vietnam with the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Chris O'Connor of Charleston; a daughter, Ann Smith of Sidney, Ark.; his mother of Oughterard, Ireland; a sister, Joan Conneely of Oughterard; a half brother, Anthony O'Connor of Elizabethtown, N.J., and two grandsons.
