Patrick Burford

Patrick Dean Burford, 53 of Scott City died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at his home.

He was born Nov. 15, 1964, in Cape Girardeau to Larry Dean and Lorene Ervin Burford. He married Tammy Davis on Aug. 19, 1988.

He was a plant supervisor for Thompson Culvert.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; his mother, Lorene Burford of Scott City; a son, Chuck (Amy) Cagle of Scott City; a daughter, Samantha (Brandon) Streiler of Scott City; a sister, Linda Beard of Chaffee, Missouri; five grandchildren, Kylie, Trevin, Gabbie, Keaton "Kiwi" and Jordan; and his father-in-law, Claude Davis of McCrory, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father; a nephew, Jesse Sousley; and mother-in-law, Helen Davis.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Griffin and Chris Carter officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
