Patricia June Wachter, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at her home.
She was born Oct. 1, 1939, in Cape Girardeau to Woodrow Wilson and Frieda Ida Hente Smith. She and H.A. Wachter were married March 8, 1958, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death May 24, 2013.
Patricia was a graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.
She worked as a meat wrapper starting at the former Mr. C's and retiring from Save-A-Lot.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed bowling and being with family, playing cards and just spending time together.
Survivors include sons, Timothy Ray Wachter and Tab Michael (Robin) Wachter of Jackson; daughters, Tamara Ann (James) Martin of Benton, Missouri, and Tina Marie Perdue of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, April (Brian) Malony, Nikia Langston, Michael (Jessica) Martin, Missy (Damien) Davis and Theresa (Scott) Littrell; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Barbara A. Amelunke.
The family will have a private memorial service.
Memorial contributions may be given to cancer research.
