McCLURE, Ill. -- Patricia Jean Simmons, 58, of McClure died at 2:40 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the Anna Rehab and Nursing Center in Anna, Illinois.
She was born July 26, 1956, in France, the daughter of Francis and Lillian Daucour Flynn. She married William "Bro" Simmons on Sept. 7, 2002, in McClure.
Patricia is survived by her husband, William "Bro" Simmons of McClure; beloved pets, Thumper and Maggie; stepson, William Benjamin (Jessica) Simmons of Jackson; four grandchildren, Gabe Simmons, Ethayn, Emma and Riley Bennett and Lukas on the way; two sisters, Marion and Maurean of Seattle; mother-in-law, Willa Simmons of McClure; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Patricia was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite "gig" was cooking. She loved to cook for family and friends.
A celebration of life for Mrs. Patricia Jean Simmons will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015, at Willa's Getaway in McClure.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home and at Willa's Getaway.
