CAIRO, Ill. -- Patricia J. Ryan, 79, of Cairo died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 19, 1927, in Cairo, daughter of Neil A. and Irma Tauber Edwards. She married William B. Ryan Jr., who died in 1997.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Weston of Cape Girardeau, Marty Ryan of Lone Oak, Ky.; two sons, Patrick "Tauby" Ryan of Cairo, Jack Ryan of Prairie du Rocher, Ill.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Dr. Larry Potts officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge, Ill.
