Patricia R. Lee, 94, of Cape Girardeau passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at her home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1927, in Cape Girardeau to George Lee and Vera Thelma Niswonger Bond. She and Elmus Jerry Lee were married on Dec. 21, 1957, in Sikeston, Missouri.
Patricia was a member of First Baptist Church. She started working at the International Shoe factory in Jackson at a young age and then transferred to the Florsheim Shoe factory in Cape Girardeau. She retired there after many years of being employed. She liked to sew and was a great cook.
Survivors include a son, David B. Cotner of Jackson; two grandchildren, Mark Cotner and Michele Cotner, both of Jackson; and a great-grandchild, Lynlee Yamnitz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
