ORAN, Mo. -- Pastor Brian Keith Gill, son of the late James Roland and Irene Alberta Howell Gill, was born Oct. 9, 1956, in Chaffee, Missouri, and departed this life Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 63.
Brian was the pastor at Perkins (Missouri) Baptist Church for the past 13 years and was formerly employed at Kirby sales. He enjoyed fishing, music, good food and family. He was a resident of Oran.
On Oct. 16, 1976, he was united in marriage to Deborah Ann Held in Cape Girardeau. She survivors of the home.
Besides his wife, survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Brandon Lee and Katherine Gill of St. Louis; brother, Steve Gill of St. Louis; sister, Kelly Gill of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Jamaal Austin Gill, Emma Rose Brown, Brenden Gill, Lexi Gill, Wyatt Knox Gil, and Vera Joan Gill; and great-granddaughter, Presleigh Grace Gill.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Andrew Gill.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Perkins Baptist Church in Perkins.
Funeral will be at noon Monday at the church, with Brother Tom McCanless officiating. Interment will follow in the Perkins Cemetery.
