SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Pansy Corene Weaver, 78, of Scott City died Sunday, July 30, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 2, 1921, at Bell City, Mo., daughter of U. Francis and Nellie Dodson Farmer. She married Barney Weaver, who died Feb. 15, 1985.
Weaver was a former self-employed child care provider. She was a member of New Life Gospel Center.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Hooper of Fredericktown, Mo., Kim Weaver of Jackson, Mo.; a daughter, Mary Coonts of Scott City; three foster sons, Steve Brewer of Benton, Mo., Doyle Brewer of Peoria, Ill., Duke Brewer of Sikeston, Mo.; a foster daughter, Diane Osborne of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Donald Farmer of Summerville, Tenn.; a sister, Antoinette Haman of Fenton, Mo.; 23 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 6 p.m. today, and Wednesday at New Life Gospel Center after 9 a.m.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
