SIKESTON -- Pansy B. McDougal, 94, of Sikeston died Monday, Aug. 25, 1997, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
She was born June 17, 1903, in Clarkton, daughter of Hugh Bernice and Vera Ozella Skaggs Johnston. She and Prince A. McDougal were married May 13, 1917, at Clarkton. He died Jan. 19, 1978.
McDougal moved to Sikeston in 1934 from Dexter. After retiring they lived in Orangelake, Fla., 14 years, and then moved back to Missouri.
Survivors include a son, Richard "Dick" McDougal of Sikeston; a brother, Clifford Johnston of Schertz, Texas; two sisters, George Anna Beck of Sikeston, Joyce Warren of Jonesboro, Ark.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, and a sister.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Jim Davis officiating. Burial will be later in Bernie Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. to service time.
