PARMA, Mo. -- Pansy Hopkins, 72, of Grandin, Mo., died Monday, March 5, 2001, at her home.
She was born Dec. 12, 1928, at Parma, daughter of Charles Clinton and Lola Blanche Taylor Boyt. She and Claude Toombs were married in June 1944. He preceded her in death. She and Elvis Hopkins were married July 28, 1957. He died July 12, 1987.
Hopkins lived in Bloomfield, Mo., several years. She had lived at Grandin since 1966.
She was a member of Full Gospel Holiness Church in Grandin.
Survivors include a son, Charles Toombs of Grandin; two brothers, Perry Boyt of Dexter, Mo., Leonard Boyt of Puxico, Mo.; five sisters, Mary Morgan and Dorothy McClard of Bloomfield, Margie Worley of Dexter, Gloria Clowes of Marble Hill, Donnia Boykin of Grandin; and a grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rodney Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Barker Cemetery near Bernie, Mo.
